  1. After shampooing and rinsing your hair, apply an appropriate amount of the conditioner to clean, damp hair (focusing on mid-lengths to ends, avoiding heavy application at the scalp if you prefer). (From product page: “Apply a small amount to clean, damp hair. Massage. Rinse completely.”) 
  2. Leave on for a minute or two (while you finish your shower, for example) to allow the conditioner to smooth and detangle the hair.
  3. Rinse thoroughly with water until hair feels smooth and there is no residue.
